Traffic Collision Avoidance Course
(TCAC)

Mandatory driver improvement course - Florida Statute 322.0261 - requires the Traffic Collision Avoidance Course for drivers who have been involved in two Traffic Collisions within a two-year period or because they had property damages of over $500 and/or injuries requiring transport to a medical facility. The TCAC teaches defensive driving techniques, behaviors and attitudes to individuals responsible for causing Traffic Collisions involving property damage and/or injuries.  

The currently approved course of attendance is the Basic Driver Improvement (BDI) 4-hour course.
